"Happiness is taking a long hot bath"

Enter: herbal bath tea. No salt required, just pure, soothing herbal goodness. Of course, if you're feeling fancy, you can always toss this herbal blend into your bath salts for an extra luxurious soak. Personally, I'm all for it!

This herbal bath tea is like a giant cup of tea for your skin and mind, offering just the rejuvenation you crave after a taxing day. So, are you ready to indulge in a little self-care? Let's dive in!

Romantic Herbal Bath Tea

Skin type: All skin types

Shelf life: 1 year

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup rose petals

  • ¼ cup hibiscus

  • ¼ cup lavender

  • ¼ cup poppy leaves

Instructions

  1. Mix the herbs together in a bowl.

  2. Transfer the herbal blend into a glass Mason jar, conveniently placed near your bath or tucked under the bathroom sink. Don't forget to label and date the jar for future use!

To Use

For a luxurious bath experience, place ½ cup of the herbal blend into your bath tub. You can choose to let the herbs float freely or contain them in a muslin bag. Using a muslin bag helps prevent any loose herbs from clogging your bathtub drain.

Tip

Another convenient way to enjoy Bath Tea is by brewing it directly in your kitchen before adding it to your bathwater.

  1. In a quart-sized (950-ml) Mason jar, add ¼ cup of the bath tea blend.

  2. Pour 4 cups (960 ml) of hot water from a kettle over the herb blend.

  3. Close the lid tightly and allow the tea to infuse for 20 minutes, allowing the herbs to release their beneficial properties into the water.

  4. After 20 minutes, strain the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any herbal particles.

  5. Pour the infused herbal tea directly into your bathwater for a soothing and relaxing soak.

For an extra touch of luxury, consider adding essential oils. Combine 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil with 5 drops of your favorite essential oil, then pour the oil mixture into the bath to enhance the relaxation experience.
